CLASSES
Stem City was founded after our son developed a strong interest in LEGOs® and robotics. Watching his curiosity grow through hands-on building and problem-solving showed us how powerful early STEM learning can be.
We created Stem City to share that same excitement with kids throughout Sumner County. Using LEGO® Education programs, we provide engaging, age-appropriate classes that help children learn coding, robotics, and critical thinking through play. Our goal is to make STEM fun, accessible, and inspiring for young learners of all skill levels.
Community Builders and Early Coders ( Ages 3-5)
In this hands-on, play-based class, children learn how communities work by building and coding with LEGO® Education materials. Using My XL World, students create familiar places like homes, parks, stores, and roads while exploring the roles of people and places in a community.
Children then bring their community to life with LEGO® Education Coding Express, guiding a train through the town using simple, story-based coding activities. Through playful exploration, students develop early STEM skills while building confidence, creativity, and collaboration.
