SPRING Weather Watchers & Forecasting

Service Description

In this hands-on unit, students explore different types of weather, learn how forecasts and probability help predict severe conditions, design shelter models for humans and animals, and use a Coding Train to build interactive weather simulations while strengthening their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Students will design and build shelter models while developing communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Throughout the unit, we will also use a Coding Train to integrate coding and computational thinking, creating interactive weather models and simulations that bring forecasting concepts to life.
